LPixel Wins S$100,000 at SPRING Singapore’s Global Startup Competition, SLINGSHOT@SWITCH 2017
Tokyo, Japan – September 21, 2017 – LPixel Inc., a leader in image analysis and processing in life science and medical research, is pleased to announce that they were selected as one of the top 5 runners-up at Startup SG’s SLINGSHOT@SWITCH 2017, an inaugural global startup competition organized by SPRING Singapore. The event was held on September 20, 2017, and each of the runners-up were granted with a prize of S$100,000.
SLINGSHOT@SWITCH 2017, which took place as part of National Research Foundation’s Singapore Week of Innovation & Technology (SWITCH) was reported to have attracted more than 900 applications from over 30 countries around the world. The 30 finalists in the Grand Finals competed for the top prize, and LPixel’s Mariko Takahashi was presented with one of the runner-up prizes.
