In October 2019, EIRL Brain Aneurysm[1], its medical image analysis software that identifies suspected aneurysms from brain MRI, received the first deep learning-powered software as a medical device (SaMD) for brain MRI, and became commercially available. Starting with this product, LPIXEL has launched 2 medical image analysis software products approved and certified from the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA) in Japan, and 2 medical image analysis software secured the Japanese Pre-Market Certification . EIRL has been widely used from small medical institutions to general hospitals all over Japan.
