LPixel and CYBERDYNE Announces Business Alliance to Strengthen the Development of Medical Big Data Analysis

Tokyo, Japan – October 29, 2018 – LPixel Inc., a leader in image analysis and processing technology in life science and medical research, has announced today that it has entered a business alliance agreement with CYBERDYNE INC., the Japanese robotics company noted for marketing and distributing the HAL robotics exoskeleton suit.
CYBERDYNE, well-known for HAL and Vital Sensor, is the developer of various Cybernic Devices and Interfaces designed to acquire physical and vital data from its users. The information collected from these devices come together to form big data, which CYBERDYNE utilizes for developing methods that promote the early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of various diseases. With aims to develop innovative medical technologies that leverages medical image big data, LPixel has formed an alliance with CYBERDYNE to unify its AI medical image diagnostic support technologies with those of CYBERDYNE. The two companies will jointly promote the creation of the cybernics industry, which is a functional, organic and social integration of “people,” “machine,” and “information systems.”
