Pathology diagnostic support system utilizing three-dimensional structural information of biological tissues and artificial intelligence
The project “Development of a High-Speed and Low-Cost Nano-Level 3D Structural Analysis System for Biological Tissues Using Laser Ablation Technology”, conducted in collaboration with TCK Corporation and other partners, was selected for the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s FY2016 Strategic Core Technology Advancement Program.

Polyploid Cultivated Plant Multi-Omics Technology Development
The joint project “Construction of a Model for Environmental Robustness through the Development of Multi-Omics Technologies for Polyploids”, conducted in collaboration with Yokohama City University’s Kihara Institute for Biological Research (KIBR), the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), and the University of Zurich, has been selected for the Japan Science and Technology Agency’s (JST’s) CREST program.

Development of Lesion Detection and Diagnostic Support Technology in Colonoscopy Using Artificial Intelligence
With support from the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED) under the “Practical Application of Innovative Cancer Medical Technology Project”, the Tokyo Jikei University School of Medicine (Principal Investigator: Professor Kazuki Sumiyama) is conducting a joint research project titled “Development of Lesion Detection and Diagnostic Support Technology for Colonoscopy Using Artificial Intelligence” in collaboration with LPIXEL Inc. (Co-Investigator).

AI Image Analysis Support for the Early Detection of Tuberculosis and Severity Assessment of COVID-19
The project “Development of X-ray image analysis AI for the detection and severity assessment of pulmonary infections” has been selected for funding by the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED) as part of their “FY2021 Medical Technology Practical Application Research Project in Developing and Emerging Countries”. Utilizing LPIXEL’s diagnostic AI technology, the project aims to establish a system for the early detection of tuberculosis in and the severity assessment of COVID-19, focusing on South East Asia.

The project “Demonstration of the use of diagnostic imaging AI to enhance mobile tuberculosis screening programs in Thailand” was selected for support by the Japan External Trade Organization in the 4th call (second intake) for the “Japan-ASEAN Digital Transformation Promotion Project”.
